Over the last few years, Bonaventure members have taken part in the filming of a number of television programmes. Our past credits include:
We are able to offer to television producers a service which we think is unparallelled. We can offer a number of extras, of both sexes and most ages, each with several sets of costume and accessories and all experienced at working in front of a camera. We can also bring a large stock of period props to a production. Bonaventure boasts a number of very knowledgable members, including historical writers and researchers whose on-the-spot expertise and eye for detail can prove invaluable to historical shoots.
Neither are we afraid of action, whether we are required to fight our way along a quay and leap from shore to ship (Empire), be blown across a room by the blast from an air cannon (Secret History) or slump dead in the rigging forty feet above the deck (British Battles), we are ready for almost anything.
Although we normally specialise in the portrayal of sailors, and that is undoubtedly what we do best, we are also capable of portraying civilians of all classes and soldiers if required.
